코로나19로 인한 이탈리아 등 EU지역내 확산이 확대되고 있는 가운데, 하노버메쎄 2020 박람회가 7월로 연기됐다. 행사 주최사인 도이치메쎄는 3월 4일 공식 발표했다.
하노버메쎄 2020 개최 연기 일정

하노버메쎄(hannovermesse)는 인더스트리4.0, 산업자동화 및 에너지절감 관련 세계 최대의 이벤트로 매년 4월경 독일 하노버에서 개최돼 왔다.
올해도 4월 20일일부터 5일간의 일정으로 전시회, 컨퍼런스 및 각종 이벤트들이 개최될 예정이었다. 코로나19(COVID-19) 영향으로 하노버메쎄는 3개월이 연기돼, 7월 13일부터 17일까지 독일 하노버메쎄에서 개최된다.

When will HANNOVER MESSE 2020 take place?
HANNOVER MESSE 2020 will take place from 13 – 17 July 2020.
Why is HANNOVER MESSE being postponed at short notice?
The Hannover Region Health Authority has made a mandatory recommendation to follow and implement the advice of the Robert Koch Institute for major events. These include comprehensive measures to safeguard health when organising trade fairs.
These requirements are not feasible for a major event like HANNOVER MESSE. In addition, their implementation would have the effect of impairing the smooth running of the events to such an extent that the purpose of the event intended by the planned organisation could not be achieved either for the exhibitors or for the visitors, or only with considerable restrictions.
The health of exhibitors, visitors, employees and the general public is a top priority for Deutsche Messe AG. HANNOVER MESSE has therefore been postponed to 13 to 17 July 2020.
What safety precautions will be taken at the next events?
Deutsche Messe AG is in constant contact with the relevant health authorities. Whether, and if so, which security precautions are necessary for the trade show in July, will be decided at the appropriate time together with the health authorities. At present, we are assuming that it will be possible to hold the trade fair in July without any restrictions.
I just read that the fair is being postponed, what’s going to happen now?
First of all, all those involved will be informed, your usual contacts will be available to answer any questions you may have and will be happy to assist you in postponing your participation in the fair.
Basically, HANNOVER MESSE will be postponed to July as currently planned. Hall occupancy, assured stands, sponsorship opportunities and the supporting program will take place as far as possible as planned, but in July.

Will my contract with HANNOVER MESSE continue for the new date?
In accordance with III. clause 8.2.2 sentence 1 of the Conditions of Participation HANNOVER MESSE 2020 (“TNB”), which you accepted whilst signing the contract, the existing contract with you will remain in force for the new event period unless you object in writing to Deutsche Messe immediately, but no later than two weeks after you received the notification of the rescheduling of the event.
Only in the event of your objection will we charge you a fee in accordance with III. item 8.2.2 sentence 2 Subsection 2 of the General Terms and Conditions. You will then receive a new invoice for this cost amount. At the same time, any invoice already issued for the participation fee for the original event date will be cancelled. You will then receive a payment of the difference.
Momentarily payment terms expire, will they be postponed or do we have to pay now?
Please assume that the payment terms originally stated remain valid and plan your payments accordingly.
Will existing contracts and booked services remain valid?
Yes, all already booked services and contracts remain valid for the time being when you attend the new event date.
I am an exhibitor and will participate in the new event date. Will the stand area I know remain the same?
Due to a change in participation behaviour, rescheduling may be necessary. In this case we will contact you in due time.
Will the price of the stand space or services change for the new date?
As things stand today, the price of the stand space or services you have already booked will not change.
Will Deutsche Messe AG reimburse us for costs for services booked with third parties (e.g. catering, travel/accommodation etc.)?
No, services ordered from third parties are based exclusively on the relationship between the parties who have concluded the contract. Deutsche Messe will not reimburse any costs in this respect.
I am an exhibitor, what happens to services I ordered via the Deutsche Messe AG Shop?
If you ordered services from Deutsche Messe and are attending the new event, nothing will change, subject to the availability of the service partner commissioned by Deutsche Messe.
If you wish to make any changes to your appearance, you can adjust your orders in the HANNOVER MESSE Shop at any time to suit your requirements. Should a change in placement occur, the orders you have booked will remain valid and can be adjusted to meet the new requirements. In the event of a change of location, please note that the new location could result in changes, particularly with regard to technical services such as ceiling suspensions, power, water or compressed air connections. If you have ordered services from Deutsche Messe and are not attending the new event, the services you have booked will be cancelled free of charge when you cancel your order with us. Only the cost of the participation fee according to Item 7.1 in conjunction with Part IV of the Conditions of Participation will be charged (see also general information on cancellation).
