[New] EMC filter for machinery and robotics

Sshaffner’s popular FN3270 series was extended to provide more options for machine builders.

The new FN3271 inherits the benefits of the popular FN3270:

  • Compact dimensions
  • Lightweight design
  • Easy installation and contacting

Performance enhanced

The FN3271 can present a viable solution for EMC challenges, where the impedance at the connection to the noise source is high (> 100 Ohm). The internal configuration is optimized for this application.

For situations with low impedances at the noise source, the existing FN3270 remains the option of choice.

Special feature: Protective cover

The optional transparent protective covers are available for all filters with busbars, to protect the installer, operator, or inspector from accidental touching of live conductors. They can easily be retrofitted even if the filter is already installed and connected.
