New ARC Advisory Group research on the operator panels market reveals that the driving force for this market is the implementation and adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) in the industrial sector. Operator panels provide increasing functionality, such as remote maintenance, direct connection to central servers, the Cloud, line control, programming, design, etc.  Multi-touch panels are the latest state-of-the-art panels that help suppliers bring real value to operators/customers by offering reasonable multi-touch applications.
