Mr Erik Syme received an A.S. in Electronics Technology (1999) from Bakersfield College and received a B.S. in Business Administration (2013) from California State University Bakersfield. Erik joined ProSoft Technology in 2000 as a technical support engineer, specializing in industrial communications such as Modbus, PROFIBUS, HART, and DNP3.

In 2008 Erik was the Technical Support Manager for ProSoft Technology, and in 2011 he started to work as a Strategic Product Marketing Manager, specializing in industrial communication protocols including IEC 61850.
