    Traditional techniques require time and costly procedures, which typically limited the pool of components available that can operate in extreme temperature or radiation conditions, are affordable and available within reasonable lead-times without compromising on quality.

    HARDSIL® immunizes semiconductor devices against high temperature or radiation induced stresses without the need for special design techniques (RHBD) or expensive specialized semiconductor processes (RHBP).

    HARDSIL® can enhance a broad range of semiconductor devices. It is a fully designed agnostic approach, uses any standard manufacturing equipment and process geometry with no negative impact on performance, power consumption or yield. Simulations have shown the ability to scale down to the most sophisticated leading edge technologies like FinFET implementations.
     

    HARDSIL is a cost-effective modification to commercial process flows that can be implemented quickly with minimal incremental mask and implant steps. VORAGO has developed multiple products using HARDSIL and it has been used under license by other leading semiconductor suppliers.

    HARDSIL-based products are an ideal solution for applications in Aerospace & Defense as well as in Industrial markets.
